About

I am currently a joint postdoctoral fellow at the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University with Randy Kamien and Geneviève Dion, studying the geometric and topological influences on the physics of knit materials. I received my PhD from Harvard Physics, where I worked with L. Mahadevan on patterns and geometric singularities in sheets and shells. I have broad interests in applied geometry and topology, biological and machine learning, visualization, digital art, analog art, music, and movement.
